On 11^th Jul 2020, Qichang Yang, the chief scientist of the Smart Plant Factory of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, appeared on China’s first public youth TV program CCTV1 “Let’s Talk”, revealing the mystery of the smart plant factory that has subverted traditional farming methods, and let more people understand this Highly efficient agricultural systems and production methods that represent the direction of agricultural development, which are very likely to be related to the way of life of everyone in the future.

From the research on the opening of an LED light board to the solution of the key technical problems such as the light formula of plants and the creation of LED energy-saving light source, Professor Yang led the team to build a plant factory’s core technology system with China’s independent intellectual property rights, making China one of the few countries in the world to master the high technology of plant factories
